Let your ear now be attentive, and your eyes open, that you may listen to the prayer of your servant, which I pray before you at this time, day and night, for the children of Israel your servants, while I confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against you. Yahweh, my God, I take refuge in you. Save me from all those who pursue me, and deliver me,

I will be glad and rejoice in you. I will sing praise to your name, O Most High.

Those who know your name will put their trust in you, for you, Yahweh, have not forsaken those who seek you.

Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.

When you said, “Seek my face,” my heart said to you, “I will seek your face, Yahweh.”

Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for those who fear you, which you have worked for those who take refuge in you, before the sons of men!

Also delight yourself in Yahweh, and he will give you the desires of your heart.

For I hope in you, Yahweh. You will answer, Lord my God.

Now, Lord, what do I wait for? My hope is in you.

Let all those who seek you rejoice and be glad in you. Let such as love your salvation say continually, “Let Yahweh be exalted!”

Through you, will we push down our adversaries. Through your name, we will tread down those who rise up against us.
